Amberjack Software Privacy Policy

Amberjack Software fully respects your privacy and makes sure that your data is always protected. By using the application Shoebox Receipts, you consent to the following policy re: the operation of the Shoebox Receipts Service ("The Service")

Your documents will be stored on our servers so that Shoe Box Receipts can synchronize them between your devices and back them up.

Your data remains yours, and are processed with the following safeguards:

All communications between our applications and servers (and between data centers, too) are encrypted. Your documents are also stored encrypted at rest.

You can access, edit, export and delete your data using the iOS app.

We don’t share your data with anyone except for complying with the law, operating The Service, and respecting our rights.

We may need to access your data to debug issues that you report to our customer support team.

We don't collect personal information unless we need it to operate The Service. If you choose to share your receipts across your devices, we will collect your phone number to link the devices together. If you choose to email receipts, we will collect your email. We do not collect your name or address. You do not need to provide either your phone number or email in order to use The Service.

If you provide permission, Shoebox Receipts collects and attaches your location to your receipts. This information is used by you for searching. We do not access this information unless we are debugging the platform or otherwise improving The Service.

If you encounter a problem with Shoebox receipts, you may also send us your app logs by email so that our developers can investigate the situation and resolve the issue.

We may display advertising in the free version of Shoebox Receipts.

We only store your data in the United States.

Data from The Service is backed up regularly to allow restoration of our clients Data in the event of hardware or software failure. Your data maybe present in a backup even after you delete it from The Service. Backups are deleted periodically in accordance with our normal backup rotation procedures.

Our services and applications are not directed at children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data without your consent, please contact us as described below and we will take steps to delete such data from our systems.
